Nothing to do with puppies, nor odors. Only cool software.

Just wanted to give a status since there hasn’t been an app update in a while…

There are some HUGE additions to QuickCal Mobile that are nearing completion. A guess a bit of a teaser would be to tell you that there’s a lot of different ways you can visualize your events than just a list of them (that can only go forward in time by 28 days)…

These multiple additions we’re making are in addition to some really nice enhancements to the language parsing engine.

Everything is very close to being completed, and then we’ll have a few days for some polish. Stay tuned!

(We’re still looking for more beta testers too!)

QuickCal 1.2 is in review right now… One of the things we’ve been knocked for in the App Store reviews is our horrible icon. That now changes (thanks What Cheer!). Check it out below!

This version also contains some really slick ways for switching calendars quickly and hiding calendars you don’t want to see… Oh, and it will allow you to look at more than 5 days of events in the event view.

A couple bug fixes have been thrown in for items mentioned in the reviews on the app store. (Overall rating of 4.5/5! Thanks everyone! We love reviews!!!)

Should be a good one!

v1.0 of QuickCal Mobile for iPhone has been released. So update to iOS4, and grab yourself a copy!

Just wanted to shoot out a quick note – QuickCal Mobile for iPhone is v1.0 complete, and has been submitted to the App Store for approval! (iOS4 brings us most of the APIs we needed to build this app).

Unfortunately, there’s no APIs for to-do management, so that functionality will have to wait till a later date.

Took a break from QuickCal, and released an iPhone game. It’s a cross between educational and bar game (hrm, that’s odd) – uses the compass in the 3GS and your current GPS location, and sees if you can point your phone to cities around you, and around the United States. I’ve got a product page, and here’s a link to the app on the App store.
